I quit my job, and now ready for wherever life takes me.
Why the name, butterfly? My late husband used to call me his butterfly. We both believed in ongoing metamorphosis, continuous self development, and growing as individuals all the time. Hence, butterfly. And yes, I do see butterflies quite frequently in places where butterflies are not normally seen. I know he's always with me.
My story began in 2017 when my husband passed away. We had about a year before he died to prepare; he wanted me to spread his ashes all over the world. So here I am, ready to go! Along with travel, I'll also post about my food adventures, whether at a restaurant, or of my own creation. Let's see where I go...
Update: 2020
I'm not really a nomad anymore. I returned from travel and started working again 12/2020. Now I will travel like normal Americans with my 2 weeks off per year. Haha!
