2 Years

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since Chris went to heaven. I am so grateful that I have tons of beautiful memories with him and can look back at the wonderful times we had. I don’t feel sadness anymore, but I do miss my best friend. As I look through old photographs, I feel content and satisfied that we enjoyed life to the fullest. He made life so fulfilling. I always feel humbled that such a great man chose me.

Part of the ability to now be in a good place is due to the great support of my friends. I love the quote, friends are the family you choose. I have chosen an amazing, loving family whose friendship has allowed me to flourish and stand here today. I’m so grateful for all of these wonderful people.
